SS Nieuw Amsterdam (1937); Passenger vessel; Liner, transatlantic

Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of the Nieuw Amsterdam (1937), a transatlantic liner, made from a die-cast metal with yellow plastic funnels. The hull is painted light grey and the upperworks white. The funnels are screwed to the hull and have green and cream bands. The hatches and ventilator covers are painted brown. The model is stored in its original cardboard box, and there are two masts stored separately. Inscription on the underside reads: 'M.706S.S.NEUW AMSTERDAM'.
