RMS Sylvania (1956); Passenger vessel; Liner

Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of RMS Sylvania, a liner made from die-cast metal with a plastic funnel screwed to the hull. The hull is painted black, the upperworks white, the funnel red with two black stripes and a black top, and the hatches and deck equipment brown. There are eight slots in the deck for derricks [four forward, four aft] and one behind the bridge for the mast. The inscription on the underside reads: 'M710 R.M.S. Sylvania'. There are also brown plastic derricks and a mast attached to a moulding rod in a cellophane bag.
