HMS Swiftsure (1943); Warship; Light cruiser, Minotaur class
Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of HMS Swiftsure (1943), a Minotaur class light cruiser made from die-cast metal with a black plastic derrick between two funnels. The hull and upperworks are painted blue-grey, the funnel tops, AA, main armament directors, and anchor chains are all painted gloss black. There are two triple 6 inch turrets forward and one triple turret aft which are all moveable and riveted through the deck. There are large paint chips from the starboard AA director and port bow. Inscription on underside reads: "HMS Swiftsure M761".
