Clock parts
Square metal tin ('Portland' typewriter ribbon) containing relics from the 1936/37 restoration of H2. Among the 158 small pieces is the square plate originally used to pivot the stop-work wheel when Gould chain-drilled the plate out to get the orientation correct in March 1937, taken off again when the timekeeper was restored in 1960. Other pieces include a card profile for a new pallet, large numbers of taper pins, screws and washers, a number of broken lignum vitae pinion rollers and several broken axial wires from the balances.
