Button
A relic of Sir John Franklin's last expedition 1845-48. Four horn buttons, found at Crozier's camp site near Ross Cairn, Point Victory, King William Island on 11 July 1879 by the Schwatka Search Expedition 1878-79. This was the place when the crews of 'Erebus' and 'Terror' landed after abandoning their ships. They each have four holes and one has thread and blue cloth attached.
