Pack donkeys with boy attendants, Bucks Mills, Devon
The quay at Bucks Mills, foreshore and cliffs looking east at low tide from where the beach and path meet. The East Kiln (built in 1760) is on the cliff side. On the steep track leading from the beach to the village are two pack donkeys with their boy attendants, of which two of the youngest are seated on the low wall by the path. Francis Frith & Co negative no. 55987.
