Stipple engraving. Signed by the artist and engraved in graphite below the image. See PAJ2813, another copy. This is based on Barker's large painting, now at the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook (so in fact part of the minority portion of the Greenwich Hospital collection which is not in NMM care), but was probably engraved from the smaller version which is today in the Government Art Collection.
