Revolver

Rimfire revolver. The stock has wooden grips, the remainder of the weapon being made of steel. It has a solid frame incorporating a spur as guard for the concealed trigger which only appears when the revolver is cocked. The hammer has a knurled spur. The right rear of the frame bears a relieving groove through which the cylinder may be loaded. There is a single action lock that must be thumb cocked for each round. The cylinder is chambered for seven shots. The barrel is rifled with five grooves and a right hand twist. Circular external section with a small bladed foresight which is obscured by the hammer when the action is not cocked. The calibre is 0.22in. The cylinder is inscribed '1 9 3'. 'ALERT' is engraved on the top of the barrel.
