Webley Mark VI
Revolver with twin hard rubber plaques applied to each side of the butt to form the grip of the stock. A lanyard ring is fitted to the base while a solid frame is made in one with the barrel. The double action lock of the revolver has a six chambered cylinder with manual or automatic cocking. The action breaks at the rear of the cylinder to provide loading and ejection. The firing pin has been filed off and the pistol is now inoperable. The barrel is six-sided with a pronounced foresight. The calibre is 0.45in. The revolver bears on the left side of the frame the inscription 'WEBLEY MARK VI PATENTS 1918', while the serial number '348997' is stamped on the frame and the cylinder together with the Enfield and Birmingham proof marks.
