Clock. Dial clock. Eight day duration, spring driven, chain fusee movement with anchor escapement.
Shouldered plates with a shaped cut-out to bottom edge. Plate size approximately approximately 145 x 101mm. Four slightly barrelled, cross pinned pillars. Barrel and fusee drilled for line or chain. The great wheel has one tooth root drilled to facilitate releasing the ratchet click. Back of fusee cone scratched: '2/2'.
305mm diameter (12") cream painted convex iron dial with Roman numerals and minute circle with triangular five minute markers.
Signed 'ARNOLD & DENT LONDON 708'.
Black painted blued steel moon hands.
Case: Mahogany and pine construction with a turned mahogany bezel and mahogany veneered pegged back box with a hinged door in the side and a lockable hinged door underneath.
Cast brass bezel with lock. Convex glass over dial.
