Button, Royal Naval Reserve uniform: pattern 1891

Domed gilt button. . Rope twist edge. Within a raised circular border on a smooth background is a pre-1901 crown over a foul anchor with the rope tied to a ring, it goes under the left-hand side of the stock, then goes under the shank to the right and then back under the shank to the left and finishes under the left arm. At the end of the left-hand side of the stock is an R, on the shank is an N and at the end of the right-hand side of the stock is an R.
