Button, Royal Marines uniform: pattern 1923
Four buttons. Domed. Smooth edge. Around the bottom edge going up either side is a wreath of leaves. Within the wreath on a raised circular border with a stippled background is ROYAL MARINES. In the centre is a post-1901 crown above a fouled anchor with the rope appearing under the right-hand stock, then goes under the shank to the left , then over the shank to the right and ends under the right arm.
