.380 revolver. The stock has brown chequered grips with a brass buttcap. Solid brass frame and a brass trigger guard. The revolver has a steel trigger and steel six shot cylinder. The revolver is double action. The barrel is fitted with a blade foresight. The calibre is .380in. The revolver is stamped on the barrel with a crown over 'BP' and a crown over 'BV' The frame is stamped '.380'. This revolver was possibly used by a Merchant Navy officer.
