Safety pins
Medical equipment belonging to Dr Alexander Hepburne Macklin (1889-1967), surgeon on Shackletons last two expeditions. Set of ten stainless steel safety pins (three large; one medium; 3 medium-small; 3 small). Contained in plated steel tube with slide-on cap, labelled in red lettering on clear adhesive label 'SAFETY PINS'.
