Syringe
Medical equipment belonging to Dr Alexander Hepburne Macklin (1889-1967), surgeon on Shackletons last two expeditions. Small glass syringe (lacking plunger), with two needles, in purpose-made brown leather case fitted with retaining tubes for needles and clamp for syringe. Case has popper fastening. 'Tabloid' brand.
