Model gallows
A model gallows, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). The wooden components are joined by pegs. The rope is made of blind cord attached by two metal eyes. There is a wooden peg through the base to enable to gallows to be slotted into the booth. Punch is sentenced to execution but manages to hang the hangman.
