Punch and Judy puppet: Toby dog
A glove puppet representing dog Toby, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). A machine sewn, white fur fabric dog, with brown ears and a red satin ribbon round its neck. The puppet has glass eyes, and extra furry fringe and longer hair round its muzzle. There is a brass curtain ring attached to the back hem of the glove puppet to hang it up.
