A leather strap with three round bells attached to it, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). Accounts of Butchard's performance describe him going along the beach at Broadstairs before each performance, ringing an alpine cowbell and collecting a crowd of children.
