Union flag

British Union Flag (post 1801 pattern).. Machine sewn. Wool bunting attached to a metal staff. Maker's name inscribed on hoist: 'JOHN EDGERTON & CO LTD'. Used by an Admiralty chauffeur during the Second World War, Albert Moth, who worked for Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Dudley Pound (1877-1943) and Admiral of the Fleet, Andrew Browne Cunningham, Lord Cunningham of Hyndhope (1883-1963).
