Saucer

Sage green earthenware saucer with a gilt rim. It has a black transfer-print in the centre of a kneeling female slave, her wrists chained. The figure is derived from the famous Wedgwood plaque. There is a palm tree in the background to the left. Part of the Michael Graham-Stewart slavery collection.
