Printer’s proof with manuscript corrections. The text is as follows: ‘$100.00 reward/ Ran away from A. M. Creek liv-/ ing in Clinton County, two miles east of Platts-/ burg, boy from 25 to 28 years old, 5 feet 10/ or 11 inches high, weighs 160 or 170 pounds/ named Raph, he is a bright mulatto, had on/ when he left an old plush cap, brown Janes/ pants, and home made boots, nearly new. I/ will give 25 dollars if taken in Clay County,/ or 50 out of the county or in the State, or the/ above reward if taken out of the State and de-/ livered, or confined so I can get him./ October 5th 1848’.
