Persecution and Slavery
Abolitionist leaflet sold by B. White, Broad Street, Reading. The leaflet seeks to persuade the reader to stop the purchase of slave-grown sugar by describing the treatment of slaves. It was hoped that sugar boycotts would create an economic imperative for the abolition of colonial slavery.
