Billy Waters
Billy Waters was born in America and lost his leg when a seaman in the 'Ganymede', sloop, under (later Sir) J. Purves, as a result of falling from her topsail yard. The print may be engraved in reverse if ZBA2427 correcty shows him as having lost his right leg.
