Medal comemmorating the Abolition Movement. The obverse depicts a kneeling African slave shackled and chained at the wrists and ankles. It has a legend reading: 'AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER'. The reverse has the inscription: 'WHAT SO EVER YE WOULD THAT MEN SHOULD DO TO YOU DO YE EVEN SO TO THEM'.
