Anti-slavery medal
An anti-slavery half-penny. On the obverse is depicted an enchained slave kneeling to the right. It has the legend: 'AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER'. The reverse depicts two hands joined and the legend: 'MAY SLAVERY & OPRESSION CEASE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD'.
