The obverse of the token depicts a view of the facade of a building with the inscription 'INDIA HOUSE' above. The legend reads: 'FOR M. LAMBE & SONS TEA DEALERS & GROCERS, BATH', with an exergue: '1794'. The reverse depicts a laden camel in the centre and the legend: 'TEAS, COFFEES, SPICES, AND SUGARS'.
