Thermometer
Thermometer by Cary of London made up of an ivory base with a hole at the top for wall mounting and glass tube. The base measures 176 x 15 x 3mm. Engraved/ stamped on the front of the base is a scale reading 40 to 120 (no units mentioned) in increments of 1 with every 10 labelled. 40 and 120 are both covered by the brass brackets that hold the glass to the base. The scale is to the left of the glass, "CARY LONDON" is to the right. The tube no longer contains mercury and has a silver bulb at the bottom.
