Telescope mirror or blank stored in customised crate. This may be part of the Thompson equatorial , a 30-inch reflector at Herstmonceux. It could also be a 30-inch mirror with skeleton tube and fork mounting which J.H. Hindle made in 1939 for Dr. W.H. Steavenson.
