Africa Star
Africa Star, awarded to R.T.C. Worsley. A six pointed star, uniface, surmounted by a circular band crowned containing within it the Royal monogram 'G.R.I. VI'. Legend: 'THE AFRICA STAR'. Fitted with a ring and buff ribbon with a central scarlet stripe and a pale and dark blue narrow stripe on opposite sides with bar 'NORTH AFRICA 1942-43'. ZBA3029-ZBA3034 are mounted together for display. Sub Lieutenant Worsley was Gunnery officer in MGB 314, the vessel of the commanding officer, R.E.D. Ryder during the St Nazaire Raid.
