Watch

Double dialled pocket watch in gold case. Thirty hour duration, single train, gilt brass, three-pillar fusee movement with calendar work and verge escapement. The watch has two convex white enamel dials. The pillar plate side has an offset main dial with Arabic hour numerals, star minute marks and Arabic quarters, gold moon hands and winding through the dial at '3' with a polished steel collar around hole. Subsidiary regulation dial marked with the words 'AVANCE' and 'RETARD' - Fast/Slow, along with the numerals 1-7 and a steel regulating square. Potence plate side has concentric indications for month, date and day of the week in French, marked in black and pink enamel. Blued-steel arrowhead month hand with moon counterbalance, blued-steel poker date hand and wavy blued-steel day hand. Gold open face case with convex 'unbreakable' (plastic) 'glass' over both dials. Bezels decorated with thirty half seed pearls set in small applied collets over matt ground with engine turned decoration. Scratched inside rear bezel with '1994 L' and '13p'. There are also other illegible scratched marks inside front bezel. Ball pendant and stirrup bow. The pendant and bow are later replacements.
