Owner's distinguishing flag, 'Shamrock V'. The flag is made of wool bunting, machine stitched with a linen hoist containing a cord. Design: Green flag with a yellow square in the centre bearing a green shamrock. The details of the leaves are painted on in black.
'Shamrock' V was built in 1930 for Sir Thomas Lipton's fifth and last America's Cup Challenge. She had a major rebuild in 1962 and is still afloat in private ownership.
