Pail lid
Dished cover belonging to Ice pail AAA4547 (part of a dessert service that belonged to Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758-1805). Painted in full colour and gilt with a raised rim. Oak leaf borders inside and out and inscription 'Battle of the Nile' in centre.
