Dirk

Straight-bladed dirk, with a cross hilt and inversed ends. The dirk has a fluted white ivory grip and an octagonal gilt pommel. Around the centre of the grip is a gilt band, attached to which is a small oval shield. The obverse of the shield is engraved with a depiction of a crown and a foul anchor. The steel blade is in the form of a straight, diamond section. The black leather scabbard is decorated with diamond tooling on the obverse. The scabbard has one gilt locket and chape with a plain stud for a frog and one ring.
