Hankerchief
Part of a pair that includes TXT0309.2. Beadwork case in mesh pattern with friezes of flower pattern - one side predominently blue, the other pink. Striped braiding around edge. The two sides formed by tapes. Background of one side red silk, other side cream silk, and lined with quilted cream silk. Embroidered inside: "Emma Hamilton 1798". Dubious provenance via 'Pamela Hardy'. Accompanied by two letters of 1933 from A Hill-Cutler, Ye Oak Room, and Herbert Elliot, South Houses.
