Hat for glove puppet
Three cornered hat for Punch character, part of a Punch and Judy set belonging to puppeteer Peter Butchard (1909-2009). The hat is made of hand-sewn red velvet trimmed with yellow braid. There is a cluster of seven white paste brilliants sewn to the centre of the hat which has tassels of braid sewn to the corners.
