A rectangular band of red, white and black beadwork in a pattern of V-shapes and stripes, attached to a hide base. The beads are stitched through the hide with cotton thread and the opening, which should be closed by four ties, is sewn up.
Worn as arm or wrist bands, these items are known as izingusha, and when worn round the ankles by both sexes they are known as amadavathi.
