Skirt

Plaited fibre belt with a long fringe secured by two tasselled ties. This is probably a Fijian man's dance skirt or 'liku' worn over a loincloth or cotton kilt. See: 'Fiji: Life and Art in the Pacific' p. 155, cat. 75.
