Sea chest

Sea chest belonging to Captain William Lamey (1889-1969). It has straight dovetailed sides and is painted black with skirting boards on three sides. There are cleats with extra long, wormed rope beckets at each end. Longitudinal slides. A three-masted ship with double topsails is painted inside the lid which is covered with canvas.
