Chest of drawers
Chest of drawers belonging to Admiral Sir Frederick Learmonth (1866-1941). It was bequeathed to him by Admiral Prince Leiningen (1830-1904). A military-style oak chest, veneered with mahogany, in two parts. It has brass reinforced corners and flush-fitting brass handles. There is one Bramah lock on the drawers. The chest has turned feet, is ash lined and is varnished brown.
