Sea chest

Sea chest belonging to William Miller. It is made of pine and is painted black. The chest has straight sides with skirting boards on three sides. The handles consist of cleats and simple rope beckets. It has a hinged lid with a lock. There is a hook inside for a watch with a circle of fabric below to protect it from knocks, also a till with a cover.
