Sea chest in pine, painted black. Painted on outside in yellow is: 'J. COWLEY 6. B.R.A.' The chest has iron hinges and a lock, two board sides with narrow skirting boards. There are transverse skids underneath. The handles consist of cleats and painted rope beckets. No till inside but there is a slide compartment at one end.
