Chest
Midshipman's chest, with a brass nameplate on the lid inscribed: 'R.C. Jerram RN.' The chest is painted grey and now has castors on the base. The corners are reinforced with iron plates and there are iron bands across the lid. The chest has iron drop handles at the ends and a batten across the back. The maker's name on the lock.
