Chest
Chest belonging to Lieutenant James Everard (1796-1825). A compartment at the top covered by a hinged lid with a lock, the lower part contained seven small drawers with ring handles (one missing), secured overall by a lockable door on iron hinges. The item has been assembled from older parts, including three 17th century drawers.
