Ditty box

Ditty box containing two photos and a 'history sheet'. Plain wooden box with brass name plate inscribed 'G.H. BOOTS' screwed to one end; the lid is hinged and fitted with a lock (no key). There is a narrow open compartment across the back of the interior. G.H. Boots, stoker 1st class, Hood Batallion RND. He was killed in the Dardanelles Landings. inside is an inner wooden rim fitted at the back with a narrow open compartment containing photograph of G H Boots in uniform.
