Box
Box belonging to Captain Samuel Enderby (1789-1873). Wooden box with a lockable hinged lid. It has an inlaid key hole and brass handles at either end. Contains scraps of cotton thread on paper strips and coloured silks wound on a sliver of wood. Scratched on the base: 'S. Enderby Defence 1805'.
