Writing case

Leather-bound writing case, the wooden box inside divided into three sections with four seperate compartments containing four small glass bottles with metal caps. There is a leather strap across the lid and a leather insert with compartments for pens etc. The initials 'W.O.B.' are impressed on the lid and inside: 'HMS BRITANNIA, FIRST ADMIRALTY PRIZE FOR ESSAY AWARDED TO MR W.O. BOOTHBY DECEMBER 1880.'
