Writing case

Rectangular shaped writing case with brass shield in centre of lid associated with Alfred Morcombe (1861-1927). Hinged lid and lock (no key). Lift off tray and lidded sections. The inside of case is divided into separate compartments for writing utensils, ink pencils etc. Case contains a star-shaped badge (red enamel with a moon motif), 2 pencils, 6 fountain pens, 1 pair of compasses, 1 wooden engraved box with a letter, Jacobs cream cracker card, 21 greetings cards, 1 Egyptian stamp and 1 cardboard box containing fountain pen nibs.
