Visit of the Bishop of London

View from the after part of the upper deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913), looking forward. A large number of the ship's company are assembled for a visit by the Bishop of London, who can be seen standing in the centre of the group. The guns of 'Y' turret have been elevated (perhaps to create more deck space) while those of 'X' turret are trained to starboard. This photograph was taken on 26 July 1916.
