5th Battle Squadron at sea
A port quarter view of the Queen Elizabeth class battleship HMS Warspite (1913), taken from her sister HMS Queen Elizabeth (1913). The view is from Queen Elizabeth's forward superstructure, looking forward over her forecastle deck. Warspite's forward 15-inch guns are trained out on the starboard quarter and the ship has just executed a sharp turn to port. This image may be part of a sequence taken on the same day, comprising negatives N16629 to N16634 inclusive, and N16636.
