The Grand Fleet in Scapa Flow
A view aft from an unidentified ship with a 52 1/2ft steam pinnace moored to its boat boom. Three columns of moored warships are visible in the picture, with a few service craft in attendance. The column to the left comprises HMS Antrim (1903), HMS Devonshire (1904) and HMS Roxburgh (1904), all of the 3rd Cruiser Squadron. The middle column are the battleships of the 6th Division, 1st Battle Squadron, comprising HMS Marlborough (1912), HMS Agincourt (1913), HMS Hercules (1910) and HMS Revenge (1915). The final column on the right are the ships of the 5th Division, 1st Battle Squadron. The first two in this column are HMS Collingwood (1908) and HMS St Vincent (1908). The third visible ship is too distant to be identified but could be either HMS Colossus (1910) or HMS Neptune (1909).
